Occupational Therapist

Main tasks

1. Core objectives include:

• Assisting parents/families to develop understanding and knowledge of the NDIS to support their ability to make informed decisions
• Plan, implement and evaluate individual therapy programs
• Complete documentation in line with professional standards
• Work collaboratively with patients, families, support staff, and other allied health services
• Conducting standardised and non-standardised assessments and writing functional reports
• Assessing home and school environments, prescribing aids, equipment and modifications as required, within funding guidelines
• Identify and provide appropriate information and education to patients, families, support staff, and other allied health services
• The above list is not exhaustive and the role may change to meet the overall objectives of the company.

Other Duties

• Fulfil other duties as required by management and other department personnel as requested/required

  Requirements Qualifications  

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent 
• Current Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHRPA) registration
• Current First Aid certificate
• WWCC
• Police Check
• NDIS Screening
• Drivers license & access to a reliable vehicle 

Experience

• Preferably 1 year (not essential)
