ABOUT YOU: We are looking for a Senior Occupational Therapist who will be a positive addition to our consistently growing team, and who will embody the same values and high standards in helping our clients achieve positive outcomes.
ROLE DESCRIPTION: Our Occupational therapists offer a broad range of services to individuals and groups. We can work with you in order to help you focus and specialise on your own interests in Occupational Therapy. Subject to your preferences, yours role may include:
- Therapeutic use of occupations and activities.
- Skill development in self-care, self-management, home management, and community /work /school re-integration
- Education and support of individuals and their families and caregivers through collaborative partnerships and family-centered approaches
- Modification of environments (e.g., home, work, school, community)
- Use of natural contexts for assessment and intervention (i.e. home, school classrooms, work settings, community)
- Use of techniques to enhance sensory, perceptual, and cognitive processing, and manual therapy technique skills.
- Ability to provide some at home or school / preschool services
Although we require someone with experience (as the role can be demanding and a lot to learn for someone new to the OT world), we are foremost looking for the right person who holds a happy, friendly disposition and positive attitude to join our team. Key requirements:
THE MUST HAVES:
- AHPRA Registration
- Police Check (or willing to obtain)
- Current Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain)
- NDIS Worker Clearance (or willing to obtain)
- Self-organisation & time management skill

Pay: $100,000.00 – $130,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 12 – 40 per week
