About the Roles:
SALHN are seeking professional and experienced Occupational Therapists (AHP2/3) to provide assessment and treatment of acute adult inpatients and outpatients. Reporting to the Manager of Occupational Therapy, the roles are integral in our aim to optimise healthcare outcomes for patients in our community.
The Occupational Therapist (AHP2) role will rotate though a series of clinical services with an opportunity to develop a variety of clinical skills and knowledge. The Senior Inpatient Occupational Therapist (AHP3) will provide clinical services, leadership and coordination of the Occupational Therapy general inpatient services at SALHN acute sites. Successful applicants will receive a thorough induction and orientation, and regular on-going clinical supervision.
About you:
- Appropriate degree or equivalent qualification which entitles registration as an Occupational Therapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Agency (AHPRA).
- Demonstrated competency in Occupational Therapy assessment and treatment techniques.
- Demonstrated competency in the clinical management of a broad range of conditions.
- Ability to initiate and lead change that results in improved outcomes and facilitates continuous quality improvement.
