About the Role
Fusion Building and Maintenance (FBM) is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate OT who enjoys working in the home modifications area to assist frail-aged people and people with a disability.
This position is Community Based, it will be primarily working in the Nepean, Hawkesbury and Lower Blue Mountains (Western Sydney) areas. Your working day will be varied. Booking client appointments, liaising with FBM Administration staff, travelling to client homes, completing client assessments and detailed reports, liaising with FBM team members on client needs and finalising reports, and submitting reports to the FBM office. There will be an expectation on how many clients you will assess per day.
The role is full time, 38 hours per week. Working hours will be between 8.00am and 4.30pm. The salary will be paid according to experience under the NSW Health Service Health Professionals (State) Award 2023 - Range $50.00 to $60.00 per hour.

About Us
Fusion Australia Ltd T/As Fusion Building and Maintenance has more than 20 years' experience in providing specialist, disability access home modifications and maintenance, for the frail-aged and disabled.
We are based in Richmond, NSW and primarily work in the Nepean, Hawkesbury and Lower Blue Mountains areas.
We are a well-established social enterprise who also complete home modifications for private residents, insurance agencies, and other aged and disability Providers.

About You
Essential Criteria for this position:
- Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or equivalent.
- Current registration with AHPRA.
- A current First Aid & CPR certificate.
- Demonstrated ability to comply with the profession’s code of ethics and function in accordance with legislation affecting Occupational Therapy practice for maintenance of registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.
- An understanding, or experience, with the needs of frail-aged and people with a disability.
- A current NSW Drivers Licence (with a good driving record).
- Ability to see multiple clients per day.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong report writing skills.
- Self-motivated and have the ability to work independently.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Have a courteous, thoughtful and respectful disposition.
- Willingness to adhere to Fusion Australia Ltd and industry policies and procedures associated with the position.
Desirable Criteria:
Experience working as an Occupational Therapist in home modifications in the Aged Care and NDIS areas or willing to learn.
