Our client has a position available for an Occupational Therapist to join their team who is passionate about working with a variety of clients. The current caseload includes assessment and recommendation for everyday equipment recommendation, complex equipment prescription, minor and major home modification and application through funding.
About the role
- Providing initial assessment and ongoing treatment to elderly clients and clients with disabilities
- Producing thorough and accurate documentation and completing funding application reports (if required)
- Liaising with service providers and within the team to ensure effective communication
- Traveling to client's home for initial OT assessments and ongoing interventions, including equipment trial and home modification review
- Part-time or full-time (3 - 5 days per week) or contractor work
- Director is available to review applicants with interviews to start immediately .

Skills
- Current AHPRA Registration, police check, and Australian driver's license
- Clinicians are all levels of experience are welcome to apply!
- Demonstrated understanding of complex needs of elderly clients and adults with physical and neurological conditions.
- Experience working in the community to provide home-based OT service is desirable
- Knowledge of aged care and NDIS is desirable, and further training can be provided at work
