Job Description
An exciting and challenging opportunity exists for a highly motivated Occupational Therapist within the Epworth Rehabilitation team at Hawthorn!
This position services outpatients seeking Occupational Therapy following multi-trauma orthopaedic injuries, concussion and embarking on their return to work journey. You will be part of the Occupational Therapy team, reporting to the Manager of Occupational Therapy. This is a parental leave fixed term position until March 2025. The role is available for 4 or 5 days per week.

- Providing clinical care based on best available evidence
- Having well-developed organisational, planning and problem solving skills
To be successful in this role:
- You will be proficient in assessment, management, and discharge planning of rehabilitation patients
- Are able to demonstrate accountability with a strong, supportive and engaging communication style
- Must be registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Have the ability to supervise and educate junior staff and students
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Previous experience in multi-trauma orthopaedic, concussion and vocational rehabilitation highly desirable
