AddressBrunswick Private Hospital has been transformed into a 98-bedded rehabilitation and mental health facility. Conveniently located in Melbourne’s inner-city suburb of Brunswick, we provide specialist care for patients with medical, rehabilitation and mental health needs.
Occupational Therapists work closely with other medical, nursing, operational and allied health professionals; and with other health service providers from government and non-government organisations. The position is expected to respond to the needs of their identified target populations and provide Occupational Therapy services to the identified client caseload on a prioritised basis. You will also be responsible for leading the Occupational Therapy team, provide supervision to staff and keep up evidence based practice within the team.

Selection Criteria
Essential:
- Degree in Occupational Therapy and registration with AHPRA
- Competent with Quality Assurance Projects
- Competent with functional assessments
- Demonstrated leadership experience
- Experience with supervision of junior staff and/or students
- Current Victorian Driver’s License
Preferable:
- Experience with neurological patients
- Demonstrated knowledge in equipment prescription and home modifications
- Demonstrated experience in working in a multi-disciplinary team and autonomously
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
- Competent computer skills particularly in Word Processing and Internet use, and the ability to learn dedicated software
- An understanding of cultural diversity
- Negotiation and conflict resolution skills
