About the role
Applications are invited from experienced Occupational Therapists for a Senior Clinician role within the Commonwealth Home Support Packages (CHSP), managing a varied and challenging community-based caseload and providing leadership within the Occupational Therapy team.
With a minimum of 7 years post graduate clinical experience, the successful applicant will have recognised expertise in the prescription of home modifications and equipment for clients with complex care needs living in the community. They will provide clinical consultation to the Occupational Therapists working in CHSP, helping to support the growth and development of these staff.
The successful applicant will have advanced skills in providing supervision and mentoring to both novice and experienced Occupational Therapists, and demonstrated leadership qualities. Effective communication and the ability to foster team work and engage key stakeholders is essential. Proven research capability or management of quality improvement activities is highly desirable.
