Access theThe RoleAn opportunity has become available for an Occupational Therapist (Head to Health Kids) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.You will
- Provide an efficient and responsive mental health Occupational Therapy service within identified models of care across multiple clinical areas
- Apply professional judgement to facilitate effective clinical practice based on valid and reliable evidence across multiple clinical areas
- Utilise knowledge of Occupational theories and frameworks in understanding the occupational and functional impact of mental health and wellbeing for children under 12 years and their families
- As experience builds, apply increasingly independent clinical judgement to more complex clinical decision making under the practice supervision or professional guidance of a more senior clinician
- A tertiary degree in Occupational Therapy
- AHPRA Registration
- Driver Licence
- Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
- Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
- Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)
