Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for an Occupational Therapist. The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for assessing and treating individuals who have a range of physical, cognitive, and/or emotional challenges. They will develop treatment plans, set goals, train and educate participants, perform home and community based evaluations, and document progress. The Occupational Therapist will also work closely with other healthcare professionals, such as speech-language pathologists, physical therapists, and behavioural support practitioners.
Qualifications
Occupational Therapy bachelor or Masters degree
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience working with individuals who have a range of physical, cognitive, and/or emotional challenges
Ability to develop and implement treatment plans and set goals
Knowledge of relevant government regulations and guidelines
Excellent documentation and organizational skills
Registration with AHPRA
Experience working with NDIS participants is a plus
