AddressMetro South Palliative Care Service (MSPCS) are looking for an Occupational Therapist to join their team. MSPCS provides specialist Palliative Care utilising the model for population-based care developed by Palliative Care Australia. MSPCS provides community-based specialist Palliative Care across the district. The MSPCS team is an interdisciplinary group of healthcare professionals who deliver collaborative patient-centred care in partnership with acute, domiciliary, aged care health providers and general practitioners.

About the Role
- Work externally to the hospital environment and provide occupational therapy services in the community, including patient homes. This will require high-level problem-solving skills as well as the capability to operate with a high degree of autonomy and flexibility.

- Contribute to development to of clinical practices, procedures and protocols within the Occupational Therapy MSPCS department with the support of senior staff.
- Assist patients in defining their goals and engaging in treatment to work towards mutually agreed goals with particular emphasis on adaptation to illness.
