AddressNextPath Assessment & Therapy (part of the Mater Dei Organisation) are seeking a Physiotherapist and an Occupational Therapist to join our supportive and experienced Assessment and Therapy team in temporary full time roles for 12 Months. We are encouraging both experienced Therapists and New Graduates to apply. Part time Physiotherapists are also encouraged to apply!
Mater Dei is a multi-faceted mission-driven Catholic organisation originally founded by the Sisters of the Good Samaritan as an orphanage in 1910. Mater Dei has grown significantly over time and today comprises a K-12 coeducational school for students with intellectual disability, the NextPath Continuous Learning (post school) program for young adults with disability, the NextPath Assessment and Therapy service for children and young adults, and an Early Childhood Education Program that includes a community based preschool. Mater Dei also operates a Foundation to support its many good works.
Our NextPath Assessment and Therapy Program is a multidisciplinary team of Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Allied Health Assistants dedicated to providing strengths based, evidence based and individualised therapy support to children and young adults. For new graduate and early career candidates, THE NEXTPATH NEW GRADUATE PROGRAM, will ensure a smooth transition into the role.
Our New Graduate/Early Career Support Program includes:
- A thorough induction process to help you understand your role and everything you need to know about NextPath and Mater Dei.
- A manageable caseload and realistic client support hours (billable targets)
- A carefully planned therapy timetable, that factors in your interests and experiences, and also ensures access to support from experienced therapists.
- Weekly supervision with your clinical supervisor - alternating individual and group sessions
- Fortnightly New-Graduate Mentoring and Training group sessions
- Opportunities for observations with experienced therapists

Also required:
- AHPRA Registration or eligibility to obtain
- Relevant qualifications in your chosen discipline
- A Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screener Check (or willingness to obtain before starting work)
- Two (2) Covid Vaccinations
- Current NSW Drivers Licence
