HNELHD Mental Health Services delivers mental health care across the Hunter New England Health district which covers metropolitan, regional and rural areas of NSW. Mental Health services provide a range of inpatient services and community mental health care, from prevention and early intervention, to treatment, rehabilitation and continuing care.

About the role:

• An exciting opportunity as Rehabilitation Coordinator is available within the Manning Mental Health Service.
• This role has a focus on the provision of leadership, consultancy and direct service provision to consumers within the sector in regard to clinical rehabilitation and will see you work with a recovery orientation, with a focus on functional gain for consumers.
• Our successful candidate will be supported by a district wide model of care and Rehabilitation Stream, together with your local management team and Head of Discipline, Occupational Therapy.
• This position is full time; however, part time/job share arrangements may also be considered.

About the location:

• Taree, nestled on the picturesque banks of the Manning River, is a historic town and the lively hub of the Manning Valley. Serving as an ideal gateway, it offers a vibrant base for exploration, providing access to the scenic national parks and stunning beaches of the Barrington Coast.
• The Manning Community Mental Health Team provides mental health services to Bulahdelah, Gloucester, Forster and Taree, located on the Lower Mid North Coast.
