ABOUT THE ROLE
Full Time*, Part time or causal opportunities (Full time may be across MHC sites)
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic, friendly and skilled multidisciplinary team, working across both Inpatients and Day Only Rehab.
You will provide Occupational Therapy assessments and evidence based intervention for individuals of all abilities with an aim of delivering patient centered and goal orientated care
Work in collaboration with families/carers and community health care service providers to facilitate safe and timely discharge planning
Ability to work closely within the MDT, participating in case conferences and family meetings as required.
Demonstrate effective time management, with a high standard of written and verbal communication skills.
Provide direction, supervision, and support to Allied Health Juniors / Assistants / Students
Partake in continuous personal development by contributing to and attending in-services

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
· Relevant tertiary qualification and current APHRA registration
· Australian Citizen or Australian Permanent Resident.
· Current National Police Check
-Current driver’s license
· Demonstrated ability to work autonomously as well as within a team, exercising independent professional judgement
· Demonstrate high level of interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
· Excellent time management and organisational skills.
