Temporary part time opportunity to apply high level Occupational Therapy skills and knowledge in the assessment and delivery of care to consumers in the local population to promote, maintain and improve their health, functional ability and quality of life.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • Exercise independent professional clinical judgement in providing Occupational Therapist clinical services of a complex nature where principles, procedures, techniques or methods require expansion, adaptation or modification, without the need for direct regular clinical practice supervision
  • Apply clinical evidence to practice supporting continuous improvement of quality service delivery
  • Contribute to clinical research activities in Post Acute Care Service as required
  • Provide high level clinical advice to professional and operational supervisors and relevant service managers regarding service delivery, equipment, technology and the prioritisation and development of Occupational Therapist clinical services
