Our client is a well known and rapidly growing allied health provider in Melbourne's North. They are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Occupational Therapist to join their dynamic team in a Team Leader position. The ideal candidate should have a passion for helping individuals of all ages to enhance their daily life skills and reach their full potential.
For a Senior Occupational Therapist this role offers flexibility in your work environment, allowing you to choose from the clinic, in the community, or a hybrid model. They value work-life balance and provides a flexible working environment for their employees.
They are willing to provide supervision, mentoring and training to Occupational Therapists with 2-3 years experience or limited NDIS experience to allow them to learn and grow into the team lead position.
Full time role however part time applicants will be considered.
Your role will include:
- Orchestrating team meetings for the Occupational Therapy team
- Supporting the team around professional development and training points
- Assist in new graduate training and education programs as well as managing students on placement
- Split between 3 days clinical and 2 days of management responsibilities
- Work from their new clinic located in Brunswick and visit clients at their homes within the local community
- See NDIS clients from ages 3-65 or have a caseload tailored to your interest area - common conditions include intellectual and physical disabilities, ASD and more
- Reduced caseload due to your leadership responsibilities
- Report to the Allied Health Team Leader
- Salary of $120,000- $130,000 + superannuation
- Annual PD budget of $5000 + 2 days study leave
- Reimbursement for your travel per km
- External speakers provide training to the entire team once per month

Requirements:
- Minimum 2+ years postgraduate experience
- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
- AHPRA registration
- Unrestricted working rights in Australia
