Come and be a part of a growing therapy team, we're searching for a therapist who is keen to help regularly supervise and coach regular small cohorts of allied health placement students and student support workers. We're collaborating with universities to provide quality student learning experiences!
Therapists will also have their own NDIS community caseload on the side, at a reasonable target of 3.5 to 4 billables per day. The caseload is approx 30% supervision/ 70% mobile community (NDIS) therapy.
Join our well-rounded Perth Allied health team working collaboratively to both supervise university students as well as improve the lives of NDIS participants.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate therapeutic interventions for members experiencing disability.
- Provide consultation to members, families, carers, and professionals.
- Apply Good Practice principles and relevant legislation.
- Conduct initial assessments, participate in team meetings, and provide treatment planning recommendations.
- Ensure continuity of care through referrals.
- Support and mentor therapy students.
- Perform regular competency checks, record session notes via Ascend Health Plus.
- Prioritise patient safety and maintain a hazard-free workplace.
What we offer:
- Flexibility - Work between 4 or 5 days per week according to your preference with flexi-time arrangements + working from home options.
- Full-Time Salary Wages- Total Remuneration Package typically $135,000 including:
- Base Salary: $85,000 Minimum Base Pay.
- Travel Allowance typically between $6,000 to $12,000
- Top Tiered Bonus Remuneration System, average caseloads = extra $10-20K annually but you can earn up to $50,000 in bonuses for extra caseload efforts.
- $1100 Leave Loading
- Plus Superannuation contribution of 11% ($12,000+)
- Super Salary Packaging options (this will increase your equivalent take home wages)
- $2,000 External Training and Equipment Reimbursement AND
- Leave: 20 Days Annual Leave, 10 Days Paid Personal and Carer’s Leave+ 4 Days Paid Wellness Days + 1 Day Birthday Leave.
Therapist Training Support Program:
- Professional Supervision (OR peer learning) according to your needs. Yearly each therapist gets plenty of training opportunities including attending (including virtually if necessary)
- Peer Support and Supervision specific to your needs, (Weekly for new grads)
- Monthly Health professional Training
- Regular Leadership & Management Trainings
- Monthly Collaborative Support Work Training
- On-call access to our management team and therapists
- Clinical supervision: You'll be assigned a senior therapist as a clinical supervisor to conduct regular clinical and professional supervision (weekly for new grads, fortnightly or as needed for other therapists).
Requirements:
- Degree in Occupational Therapy and full AHPRA registration.
- Experience working in a community services setting
- The ability to obtain an NDIS Workers Screening check, National Police Clearance and Working with Children Check.
- Excellent computer and interpersonal skills.
- A valid driver's license and reliable registered vehicle
