About Movementum
Our core purpose = Movementum exists to improve the safety and quality of care provided to those with disabilities in our community.
How we do this
At Movementum, we deliver person-centred services that seek to create an environment where individuals with physical support needs receive the highest quality care, delivered by support workers who can deliver this safely and effectively. We do this by fostering powerful relationships where the individual, family, therapists, and care providers are comfortable to discuss current difficulties or blockers to the flow of a day or support service and then work together to experiment and solve them.
Our Core Values
Respect – We value every person’s unique perspective
Collaboration – We work together for shared gains
Curiosity– We seek to learn ways to do things better
Authenticity – We choose honesty and integrity
Empowering potential – We create pathways for growth and potential
About the role:
We are looking for an experienced OT who connects with our values to join our community-based team. You would be providing person-centred services for individuals with physical disabilities living within the community, who are funded under NDIS.
As part of this role, you would be required to work closely with individuals and their support services, to foster an environment where high quality and efficient care can be delivered through having the right equipment, innovative techniques, and quality training for those providing the care services. This requires AT prescription, completion of functional capacity and home and living assessments, care worker training and documentation of the associated funding reports.
This role allows you to be part of how it all comes together – for an individual to receive high quality care, in their environment, by people who are safe and supported to provide this!
