Everglow Community Care Links Incorporated is one of North Queensland's largest not for profit community care providers. We are an Aged Care provider with a reputation for cultural leadership and innovation.
We employ over 100 staff and provide assistance to over 1,200 clients in Ingham, Townsville and Ayr.

Qualifications & experience
- Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy.
- Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Valid Australian drivers' license.
- Previous experience working in a community setting - preferred.
- Previous experience in home modifications and equipment prescription.
- Ability to use a reablement/restorative model of care to enhance the independence of our client's, and to facilitate them to remain living in the community.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Highly organised, strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Assess, plan and implement OT services with consideration of program guidelines and client goals.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge in equipment and home modifications.
- Work with families/care providers by providing ongoing support, education and training.
- Quality and timely completion of documentation and reports.
- Assess and provide appropriate home modification recommendations aligned with Australian Standards to improve client safety and independence.
- Liaise with families, specialist services and other stakeholders as appropriate.
