The Off Ramping Coordinator is responsible for working with candidates unsuitable for roles within the ADF, providing them where possible with opportunities to be employed within the Department of Defence, or other public service departments. This role is responsible for ensuring candidates are “kept warm” and that equal opportunity for employment is provided to all candidates.

Job Description
As the Off-Ramping Coordinator, you'll excel at providing top-notch service to candidates not suitable for ADF roles. Collaborating closely with the National Recruiting Operations team, you'll adhere to the off-boarding framework, ensuring a seamless transition for candidates. Your role involves engaging with these individuals, guiding them towards external opportunities within the Department of Defence or public service sector.
You will:
- Provide unsuitable candidates with exceptional level of customer service, ensuring they are engaged and provided with transparent updates based on their progress/opportunities.
- Maintain high skill level of communication (verbal and written) to effectively communicate information.
- Work across multiple platforms, whilst actively listening.
- Build and maintain relationships with external and internal stakeholders that will assist and provide opportunity for candidates outside of a career in the services.
- Maintain records of progress and outcomes of off boarding activities, candidate interaction and stakeholder engagement, to provide to Off Ramping Lead.
- Apply a keep warm strategy in line with the off-boarding solution.
- Maintain industry knowledge and awareness, driven by data insights, trends, reports and measuring return on investment.
- Bring a solutions focussed mindset to the role, seeking and presenting opportunities for improvement and innovation.
- Develop, manage and maintain a high service level client relationship through the provision of services that meet or exceed the expectations of Defence and the DFR Adecco contract, further encouraging a strong and ongoing relationship between Adecco and the Commonwealth of Australia.

- Empathetic and supportive approach in engaging with candidates
- Knowledge of Department of Defence or public service opportunities preferred
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills
