Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Newbook reservationist (Online platform reservation system) who wants to work from home. We are a remote Tourist Park in the Northern Territory, located 4 hours south of Darwin.
The Role
This is a work-from-home position where you will be responsible for the daily reservations for the Territory Manor Motel and Caravan Park.
Key Responsibilities
Assisting and advising customers and corporate clients who may be choosing from a variety of travel options.
Making Reservations for customers and corporate clients based on their various requirements and budgetary allowances.
Checking the availability and accommodation on the customer's or corporate clients desired travel dates.
Handling email reservations and questions from customers and corporate clients who wish to book at our establishment.
Processing payments and invoices and sending confirmation details to customers and corporate clients.
Follow up on quote bookings and send quote bookings.
Sorting out any issues that may arise with bookings or reservations.
Selling and Promoting reservation services
Answering questions customers or corporate clients might have about the reservation process or billing.
Upselling when appropriate by informing customers of additional services or special packages or discounts for members.
Providing support to customers who may need to amend or cancel a reservation.
Ability to strictly adhere to the Establishment's policy in relation to culturally sensitive clients, corporations, and community members.
What we are Looking for in our Reservationist.
Must have at least 2 years of solid experience in the Newbook Reservation system,
Experience working in sales or public relations, preferably in the hospitality or travel industries.
Customer service experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent telephone manners and fluent in English
Multi-tasking and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Data Entry experience
Must be able to work from home, have own computer.
