The position:
Our new administrator will join a friendly existing team and play an integral part in ensuring Norwest’s ministry activities run smoothly across the life of the church. This is a five day per week position.
Duties include:
Preparing resources, plans and presentations for our five Sunday services and a range of other ministries each week.
Assisting in planning church events including planning, communications and registrations
Maintaining our database and assisting in preparation of rosters and volunteer coordination.
Creating regular church communications for internal and external audiences via a range of channels including website, social media, email and newsletters.
Managing supplies, resources and equipment and our church calendar.
Assisting with compliance & safe ministry requirements.
The ideal candidate will be:
Excited to contribute to a caring Christian team, passionate about bringing their particular gifts to help others and to share the gospel through their work.
An experienced administrator (minimum 2 years), with strong computer skills
Detail oriented, someone who loves making plans to ensure things run smoothly and on time.
Able to juggle competing priorities
An excellent communicator and able to create high quality written communications
Keen to take ownership over processes and make improvements where needed
A current Working with Children Check will be required prior to commencement.
