YOUR Role as will see you looking after finances (accounts, payroll, BAS reporting, Cashflow reporting) and general office management. This is a fast paced role and requires someone who can meet tight deadlines and hit the ground running. This company has a number of projects they are currently undertaking and therefore invoicing functions are of high volume. You will undertake the following key tasks:
- Reconciliation of company bank accounts, using xero
- Payment of invoices
- Cashflow reporting
- Payment of subcontractor progress claims, retentions and variations, adhering to payment schedules
- Payroll using Xero
- BAS preparation
YOUR Experience to be successful in this position you will have experience working in performing all finance functions, You will ideally have experience working in the building and construction industry, have the ability to work autonomously, and be a keen and quick learner.
In addition, you will have
- Experience undertaking high volume Accounts Payable function
- You will be competent using Xero and MS Excel, to an intermediate level
- Must be able to work well in a team and communicate effectively at all levels across the business
- Previous payroll experience.
