We are looking for a motivated person who is fastidious about cleaning to keep our five story South Melbourne office sparkling clean. This is a full time, onsite role.
The Office Cleaner plays a vital role in maintaining a clean and organized work environment, contributing to the overall well-being and productivity of the office staff. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure that all designated areas of the office are kept clean, sanitized, and presentable at all times.
Cleaning equipment is provided.
What you’re accountable for?
You will be responsible for:
- Cleaning Tasks: Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and window cleaning to maintain a neat and tidy appearance throughout the office premises.
- Sanitization: Regularly disinfect and sanitize high-touch surfaces such as doorknobs, light switches, tables, chairs, and shared equipment to promote a hygienic work environment.
- Restroom Maintenance: Clean and sanitize restrooms regularly, including toilets, urinals, sinks, mirrors, and other fixtures. Ensure that restroom supplies such as soap, hand towels, and toilet paper are stocked.
- Trash Disposal: Collect and dispose of waste and recyclables in designated containers following proper waste management protocols. Replace trash bags as needed.
- Kitchen/Area Cleaning: Clean and maintain the office kitchen or break area, including wiping down countertops, cleaning appliances, and ensuring dishes are washed and put away.

- Demonstrated experience in a similar role
