This local small business was established in 2003 with a proud reputation of providing quality plumbing maintenance, repair and renovation services to the local communities of the Lower and Upper North Shore, Northern Beaches, Sydney City, Inner West and Eastern Suburbs.
A position is being opened for a competent, organised, and pro-active Office Manager to complete the team and provide support to management and the tradies, and superior customer service to the client base. Working primarily from the office located at Artarmon, with WFH options negotiable and flexible full-time hours available to attract the best candidate.
This already efficient operation can benefit from the introduction of new processes for the day to day work flows, allowing management to focus their attention on further business development and customer service. A pro-active, ideas orientated individual would be highly regarded.
Your background in office administration, preferably in a plumbing or other trade related role, should be complimented with demonstrated experience in managing a small business office and all of its day to day functions along with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work autonomously and in co-operation with the entire team.
Key Responsibilities:
· Office Management and administration functions
· Scheduling jobs to a team of 8 plumbers
· Monitoring and responding to debtors
· Management of vehicle fleet
· Reporting and updating management
· Providing excellent customer service
Ideal attributes and experience:
· At least 3 years in a similar role
· Proficiency with MS Office, Xero and Aroflo or similar software
· Attention to detail
· Ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· A friendly and co-operative disposition
