This is a temporary position 17 hrs per week.

What you'll be doing

Applies an expert level of knowledge and experience in providing  evidence based clinical services within the scope of practice.  To be a Clinical Leader, in a consultancy role, for oral health therapists across Southern NSW and Murrumbidgee Local Health Districts oral health services.    

Selection Criteria

  1. Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as an Oral Health Therapist.
  2. Demonstrated effective communication, interpersonal and leadership skills with an understanding of current concepts in clinical practice.
  3. Competent computer skills and expertise to lead the ongoing development of the electronic oral health record.
  4. Demonstrated experience in planning, implementing, evaluating and reporting on services and the ability to Lead Quality improvement activities.
  5. Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously with high level organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  6. Evidence of a current unrestricted drivers’ licence and the ability to maintain. Ability and willingness to drive/travel as the role requires. This may involve driving long distances and overnight stays.

Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination against Specific Diseases

This is a Category ‘A’ position, please read and understand NSW Health policy directive 

.  All new employees must agree to comply with the requirements outlined in this policy. OASV requirements also include proof of vaccination against influenza and is compulsory for NSW Staff that enter any Residential Aged Care Facility (RACF) or who work in NSW Health owned and operated RACFs.
