To find out more on what it is like to live and work in Southern NSW LHD click here –What we offer:· Flexible work arrangements· Salary Packaging – up to $9k for living expenses + $2.6k meal & entertainment + Novated leasing· Corporate Health and Fitness program· 10.5% Superannuation on top of your gross income· Annual Leave LoadingWhat you'll be doingThe Clinical Trials Coordinator/Operational Lead will have a role in the leadership and operation of the Southern Cluster Rural, Regional and Remote (R3) Clinical Trials Support Unit (CTSU), ensuring the Southern Cluster CTSU achieves its goals of improving equity of access to Clinical Trials and professionalising regional workforces to conduct high quality Clinical Trials.Selection Criteria * Tertiary qualifications and current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) (i.e Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, Psychologist, Podiatrist) or eligibility for membership with the peak professional association (i.e Social Worker, Dietitian, Speech Pathologist).
- Proven, significant experience in health related research, coupled with extensive experience in the coordination of Clinical Trials.
- Demonstrated ability to provide leadership and management support. Experience in the management of performance and professional development.
- Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills including highly developed negotiation and delegation skills with the ability to motivate and coordinate staff.
- Demonstrated computer literacy with specific Clinical Trials experience including managing databases.
- Expert level understanding and demonstrated compliance with good clinical practice, NSW Health (Australian) Privacy legislation as well as relevant national and international guidelines.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering education to health professionals.
- Evidence of a current unrestricted driver’s licence and the ability to maintain. Ability and willingness to drive/travel as the role requires. This may involve driving long distances and overnight stays and overnight stays.
