Haynes is currently seeking licensed, experienced, and safety-conscious Operations and Management Technicians to assist with ongoing operation of a large Solar Farm in the New England region of New South Wales. These are stable, well-paid roles at the very frontline of the Australian Renewables industry.
About the role
- Cooperate with the O&M team to ensure all registers are maintained and kept up to date.
- Support the remote monitoring room in the weekly, monthly and annual reporting.
- Capability of leading of small groups of workers
- Supervision of the site activities and reporting
- Liaise with the office, remote monitoring room, Subcontractors and, when requested, with the Client site team.
- Perform a high level of site proactive actions and monitoring in order to reduce the breakdowns and downtimes of the Solar Farm.
- Manage the day by day site activities and be responsible for the assigned plant resources.
- Monday - Saturday shifts, 55hrs per week including lots of OT
- Mon - Fri 9.5 hour days & Sat
- Long term position - 2year contracts on offer

- CPR/LVR min. 6 months remaining
- HV Switching essential
- O&M experience essential
- Solar experience essential
- Good communication skills and team focused
