- Location - Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara (APY) Lands or Alice Springs
The OCSW Manager position is responsible for maintaining and developing the On Call Support Worker Program (OCSWP) so that health practitioners employed by Nganampa Health Council have effective after-hours safety support services.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated ability in:
- leading teams in an inter-cultural context
- developing, managing, reviewing and reporting on projects and programs
- interpreting and implementing relevant legislation, policy and human resource procedures
- collecting and analysing data
- mentoring and inspiring employees.
- experience in safety and security work
- experience working for an Aboriginal organisation in remote Australia
- experience in the learning and development field.
- flexibility in family arrangements to enable extensive periods on the APY Lands
- a current Australian Driver Licence
- a current police and working with children check
- evidence of COVID vaccination
- qualifications in community development, training and development, or other related field.
Employment Conditions/Benefits
- Salary range $85,000 - $115,000 subject to experience and qualifications
- Annual Leave of 5 weeks pa
- If recruited from outside Central Australia, relocation assistance is provided to Alice Springs and annual return airfare home
- Fully maintained motor vehicle
