What you'll be doing
To provide high quality and comprehensive Speech Pathology Oncology and Palliative Care services to consumers of Blacktown Mt Druitt Local Health District. This position will be responsible for complex inpatient, outpatient and community assessment and management of patients, providing services independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
Blacktown Cancer Care Centre is an establishing service, therefore the successful Speech Pathologist will be expected to engage in service development and report on pertinent KPI's to management.
This position may supervise other staff and will assist Speech Pathology Head of Department with operational and professional matters related to this speciality area.
