  • Providing Palliative Care nursing support to clients in community or acute environment.
  • The Palliative Care team at Moree Community Health includes a clinical nurse consultant 2 and an Aboriginal Health Worker.
Where you'll be working
  • Moree Palliative Care Unit provides outpatient and/or inpatient support to Palliative Care clients across Moree, Mungindi, Boggabilla, Toomelah and Warialda.
  • You will be part of a larger multidisciplinary team including Occupational Therapists; Social Work; Dietician; Oncology; Community Nursing teams
  • Discover the diverse charm of several towns in NSW. Moree beckons with its rejuvenating thermal pools and cultural sites like the Moree Plains Gallery. Mungindi, nestled on the NSW-Queensland border, offers a unique experience with its iconic Artesian Aquatic Centre and cross-border allure.
  • Boggabilla, a quaint rural gem, showcases rich indigenous heritage, while Toomelah provides a glimpse into Aboriginal culture. Warialda, surrounded by picturesque landscapes, boasts historical charm with its heritage architecture and attractions like the Warialda Rail Journeys Museum. Requirements
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
  • Palliative Care experience preferred
  • Eligible to drive in NSW

  • This position is full-time; however, part-time/job share arrangements may also be considered.
  • To be eligible for employment in this position you must be an Australian Citizen, or permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport, or hold an appropriate visa that allows you to live and work in Australia.
