The Marble Man provides 5 star services and effective stone care solutions specialising in Polishing, Cleaning and Sealing marble and other stone surfaces. Our successful and reputable business, based on the Gold Coast has been servicing NSW to the Sunshine Coast for over 32 years.
We now have an exciting opportunity for an online and print marketing role in combination with an administration role based in our Gold Coast office. The primary purpose of the role is to effectively lead & promote our Social Media and marketing activity across the business. We are seeking an enthusiastic candidate that will ensure all our marketing needs are meet, while using the statistics gathered to then work on further key areas for business growth. This would be with online, Social Media & also referring companies sending out referral packs & following up on all engagements.
IDEAL CANDIDATES:
- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar content creation role
- Proficient in photo/video editing tools and software, demonstrating a creative flair with an eye for design and skills in video editing/creation and design (adobe, lightroom, Photoshop etc).
- Previous Experience in content creation excellence & management systems: Develop and post engaging content, tailored for all Social Media platforms including Instagram reels, Instagram stories, Facebook, LinkedIn, email marketing (Mailchimp)
- Experience in ads manager, audience segmentation, ad creation, optimisation and reporting.
- Ability to assist in preparing and maintaining marketing collateral – Brochures/flyers and in house advertising.

- A deep understanding of established Social Media platforms and a keen interest in Social Media trends and emerging platforms.

- A hunger to achieve results – increased audience, increased engagement, – must be self-motivated to achieve these and go to whatever length is required.
ABOUT THIS ROLE
- Answering customer enquires, face to face, electronically & over the phone, while logging all contacts for follow up.
- Sending, Creating and Managing all marketing needs, with follow up calls required to gather feedback for statistics and future correspondence.
- A deep understanding of established Social Media platforms and a keen interest in Social Media trends and emerging platforms.
- An understanding of analytic tools, metrics and the ability to interpret data to improve what content is delivered and how.
- Strategic Planning: Stay ahead of the curve by planning content and campaigns in anticipation of key marketing dates, ensuring timely and effective dissemination.
Styling & Visual Appeal: Contribute to the aesthetic appeal of our services offered, with before and after results workmanship with compelling captivating captions, while ensuring a seamless blend of visual appeal and effective communication, with management of these platforms - Be able to collaboratively work closely with the management and technical team to ideate, design, and execute engaging ad content that resonates with our target audience.
- Basic data entry experience & exceptional communication skills in both written and oral form.

Hours
We are looking to start the role as a 2 day per week and see where the role goes. We are flexible in which days this is but would prefer 2 days in a row. Could be a school hours roles to suit family.
