As part of Kolsen Group, RAM Services (RAMS) specialise in industrial services and facilities maintenance across the Oil and Gas, Marine and Infrastructure industries.
We are currently seeking an experienced trade qualified technician to fill the role of Onsite Maintenance Support joining our Industrial Services Division, on site at a major hazard facility in Darwin. To be considered for this position you must reside locally.
An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and highly motivated person to join our team in a full-time role.
The role is to oversee our preferred subcontractors in support of our facilities maintenance contract onsite with one of our major contracts.
Site maintenance services include: industrial planned preventative & breakdown maintenance; shutdowns and project works.
Reporting to the Contract Coordinator you will play an integral role in the ongoing success of this project.
To be considered for the role you should possess the following skills, experience and attributes
- 2 years’ experience working in a major hazard facility.
- Experience in shutdowns and maintenance contracts in the Oil & Gas industry would be highly regarded,
- Strong problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent Communication skills
- Strong commitment to Work Health and Safety
- Ability to work within a team environment while capable of working unsupervised.
Your main responsibilities are as follows but not limited to:
- Monitor compliance with site safety and environmental requirements,
- Oversight and direct supervision of frequent contractors attending site for the conduct of work through the Contract,
- Review scopes of work with contractors to generate quotations,
- Review estimated work duration to ensure compliance with client planning requirements,
- Identifies resources needed and ensures individual responsibilities are clear within the workgroup,
- Subcontractor management, including Health & Safety while engaged onsite
- Carry out audits / inspections to meet HSE KPIs – JHA, PTW and HSE inspections,
- Assists in the preparation of Risk Assessments, permits and other site documentation.
- Act as permit holder when required,
- Ensures work is completed on time, on budget and to all relevant and applicable policies, procedures and legislation.
- Provides input to weekly, monthly and quarterly reports via a weekly Activity Summary
- Provide recommendations to improve RAM Services visibility and status onsite
