The ideal candidate
- will need to be comfortable providing some personal care to clients including incontinence.
- must be capable of self regulation in challenging situations where they could be assaulted or have threats of harm directed at them by a client.
- must be compassionate and have an understanding of the therapeutic framework or be willing to learn in order to be adept at supporting young people with complex trauma.

We are currently looking for experienced Therapeutic Care Workers / Youth Workers in Penrith. Workers with experience in dealing with complex trauma are encouraged to apply.

This is a shift work position on a 24 hour roster, involving day, night (sleepover or awake) and weekend shifts.
To be a successful, you will
- Be committed to improving the lives of people with a disability
- Be passionate about this industry and supporting vulnerable people
- Be resilient and able to manage challenging situations as they arise
- Willing to commit to a variety of different shifts, including overnight, weekends and public holidays
- Previous experience with psychosocial disabilities or mental health will be highly regarded, however not essential
- Relevant qualifications and experience are preferred but not essential
- Be willing to undertake and provide a NDIS Worker Check, WWCC, Police Check (6 months) and First Aid Certificate
- Hold a current drivers license, have a car and comprehensive car insurance
