AddressBased in the south of Sydney, this well-known government organisation undertakes leading edge research in nuclear science and technology and provides specialised advice to government, industry, academia and other research organisations. The OPAL Condition Monitoring Leader is responsible for completing Condition Monitoring programs and activities within OPAL as per system maintenance strategies to support the achievement of OPAL performance targets.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop, implement, and continually improve Condition Monitoring programs using techniques - vibration analysis, thermography, oil analysis, process monitoring analysis.
- Setting up the systems for sampling, data collection, analysis and reporting.
- Provide expertise in rotating equipment monitoring and acceptance testing.
- Coordinate and supervise Condition Monitoring activities within OPAL.
- Collect, analyse, and interpret Condition Monitoring data and produce asset condition health information reports.
- Undertake fault finding activities in response to Condition Monitoring data.
- Keep up to date with best practice in the field of Condition Monitoring.
- Diploma in Engineering or relevant trade
- Australian Citizenship required
- ISO Cat II Vibration Analysis certification required
- Experience in vibration monitoring – thermography, oil analysis, and process analysis
- Experience in SAP or similar CMMS
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
