About you:

You have demonstrated ability to perform a range of cleaning tasks and operate cleaning equipment, ability to perform a range of catering tasks, and ability to perform a range of laundry tasks.
Your opportunity:
The Operational Officer (OO) participates in the provision of safe and high-quality standards of work, ensuring performance is maintained in catering, cleaning, and laundry throughout the Innisfail Hospital at all times. The OO assists in the provision of a high-quality services to patients/clients of Innisfail hospital, provides and maintains a safe environment for clients, visitors, and staff of the facility, and participates as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
Your role:
- Ensure you carry out your daily work routine in a manner that is both safe to you and other staff members, patients and public in line with Department Policies and Procedures.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team to ensure the delivery of efficient high standards of cleaning, catering, and laundry services.
- Undertake a “Mentoring “role with new recruits as required.
- Ability to communicate with a clear speaking pleasant phone manner.
- Ability to work in catering following our Food Safety Program and following Policies and procedures.
- Ability to work in our cleaning department following the SOSOU environmental cleaning guidelines and Policies and Procedures.
