Located in FRV’s Burnley complex this role as an Operations Analyst (Change/Release) is responsible for the governance around the movement of application and changes across all IT environments from development to production.
You will manage and communicate IT availability and manage conflicts between competing demands for those IT environments.
In addition as the Operations Analyst you will mentor other ICS staff in the IT Service department in FRV. To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate a track record of managing Change and Release processes within a complex, multi-stakeholder corporate environment.
Your expert knowledge of ITIL Core Principles is a must as is the skills manage and influence across various IT disciplines, so to do this you will possess exceptional people, verbal and written communication skills also.
This is a 12-months fixed-term role.

About The Role
The primary purpose of the position of the Operations Analyst (Change/Release) is the planning, implementation and execution of IT based Change and Release processes which encompass a holistic view of technical and non-technical considerations for all Changes to FRV IT services throughout their lifecycle.
What You Will Need To Succeed
As an Operations Analyst (Change/Release) you will have:
- Degree level in a relevant IT discipline
- Practitioner ITIL certification is mandatory, preferably Intermediate certification in Service Transition
- Project Management certifications highly regarded
To be successful in this position, you will have:
- Extensive experience within an ITIL governance role, with a strong focus on Change and Release Management
- In depth experience with best in breed ITSM tools
- You are and conversant in multiple IT disciplines including, but not limited to, business application, networks and infrastructure
- Experience in managing a complex, integrated business application landscape including project and production support needs
