Job description

The Company

Since our inception in 2013, we have been empowering Australians with safer solar. We are a family-owned and operated business. As a business, we strongly believe that communication, transparency, and self-awareness are the cornerstones of success. As an organisation, we operate primarily in Tasmania, however, we also have a presence in Victoria, ACT and regional NSW.

The Role

National Grid Support Service is seeking a motivated, analytical and mature-minded person to join our Operations and Customer Success team. The role is hybrid - as such you will be required to work from our Cambridge HQ 3 to 4 days per week. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day administration on behalf of our operations team as well as driving case studies and reviews for our Customer Success team. Some of your key roles will include:

  • Handling incoming customer enquiries via phone and email;
  • Driving the administration of sales & pipeline management to get jobs ready to be installed;
  • Handling accounts receivables including processing payments, invoicing & collections;
  • Dealing directly with our finance providers to manage approvals and issues on jobs with finance;
  • Monitoring the support email, for example, inbound sales and installation inquiries;
  • Liaise with sales members, customers, installation team & external stakeholders for all information related to administration;
  • Overseeing Solar Vic rebate applications, approvals, issues and payments;
  • Driving case studies and post-sale reviews in Tasmania - this will include visiting homes to take photos of the panels after the installation has been completed (branded car provided).

Skills Required

  • Strong organisational and time management skills;
  • Customer-centric with a focus on providing excellent customer service;
  • Computer literate with intermediate knowledge of cloud-based platforms;
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • Ability to perform under pressure, while remaining flexible;
  • Positive and proactive attitude;
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment;
  • Prior experience in a similar administrative role would be highly desirable.

If working within a sociable and supportive team is something that interests you please email your CV as well as a cover letter explaining what attracted you to the role.
