The Role
National Grid Support Service is seeking a motivated, analytical and mature-minded person to join our Operations and Customer Success team. The role is hybrid - as such you will be required to work from our Cambridge HQ 3 to 4 days per week. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day administration on behalf of our operations team as well as driving case studies and reviews for our Customer Success team. Some of your key roles will include:
- Handling incoming customer enquiries via phone and email;
- Driving the administration of sales & pipeline management to get jobs ready to be installed;
- Handling accounts receivables including processing payments, invoicing & collections;
- Dealing directly with our finance providers to manage approvals and issues on jobs with finance;
- Monitoring the support email, for example, inbound sales and installation inquiries;
- Liaise with sales members, customers, installation team & external stakeholders for all information related to administration;
- Overseeing Solar Vic rebate applications, approvals, issues and payments;
- Driving case studies and post-sale reviews in Tasmania - this will include visiting homes to take photos of the panels after the installation has been completed (branded car provided).
Skills Required
- Strong organisational and time management skills;
- Customer-centric with a focus on providing excellent customer service;
- Computer literate with intermediate knowledge of cloud-based platforms;
- Strong attention to detail;
- Ability to perform under pressure, while remaining flexible;
- Positive and proactive attitude;
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment;
- Prior experience in a similar administrative role would be highly desirable.
