The role: This role provides vital support to the Operations Manager and SEIT staff, ensuring operational efficiency for the depot. The Operations Assistant is responsible for executing various day-to-day operational duties and tasks for the SEIT business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide general operational and administrative support, including data entry, filing, system updates, and managing phone and email communications.
- Assist in preparing daily tour manifests and setting up tours, including maintaining tour supplies.
- Oversee the management of the staff roster.
- Monitor and manage stock levels, conduct regular stocktakes, and prepare stock orders.
- Assist with payroll tasks, including timesheets, leave support, and internal payroll inquiries.
- Perform cleaning duties at the depot to ensure the workshop is kept clean and tidy.
- Provide staff support, including issuing uniforms, induction, accommodation, and depot policies and procedures.
Experience/Qualifications:
- Previous experience in Travel/Tourism, Operations, Logistics, or Hospitality would be advantageous.
- Sound knowledge of office procedures, workflow, and data entry tasks.
- Previous experience in an administrative role.
- Current full drivers license.
- NT H-Endorsement is desirable but must be willingly to obtain one.
- Essential proficiency in MS Office Suite (MS Excel and MS Word, specifically).
