Form of workIn this fast paced and diverse role, you will be the first line of response to our Bus Drivers when they are on the road, offering frontline support, and ensuring shifts are covered daily.
Your day might include:
• Coordinating bus and employee operational movements to meet requirements for scheduled route services, charter, maintenance, fuelling and other bus and service requirements
• Ensuring our bus services are delivered in accordance with network schedules
• Monitoring on-road activities in real time through the bus tracking systems
• Escalating information to the Network Performance Specialist and stakeholders, as required, to enable them to minimise the impacts on customers due to service disruptions, emergencies or incidents
The talent you will bring:
• Full Australian working rights (an Australian citizen or permanent resident)
• High level understanding and working knowledge of the Bus and Coach industry
• Previous experience working in a control room or operations environment
• Sound knowledge of relevant transport and WH&S legislation, regulations, and guidelines
• Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
• The ability to remain calm and respond appropriately, exercising good judgement, while working in a high pressured environment
• Available to work shifts and dynamic rosters including weekends as required
