About the Role 

The Operations Lead is responsible for leading and coordinating School wide operational projects, developing, disseminating and ensuring compliance with local level protocols, procedures and guidelines. The incumbent ensures the School meets legislative and UTS governance requirements whilst supporting the effective and efficient delivery of the School's Operational Plan.

The Operations Lead coordinates the School's operations and service delivery inclusive of financial management, procurement obligations, facilities management, governance and external engagement. The Operations Lead will develop and foster strong collaborative links across the Schools and the University to support effective and efficient operational management.

As the ideal candidate, you will possess:

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders including excellent negotiation, conflict resolution, relationship building and influencing skills together with high level of diplomacy and discretion;
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement compliance with a wide range of administrative policies, systems and procedures;
  • A broad knowledge of the University's policies and procedures, particularly in relation to interpreting policy, or an ability to rapidly acquire such knowledge;
  • High level interpersonal and time management skills, a high level of attention to detail, well- developed analytical and project management skills;
  • Sound investigative skills with a capacity for systematic thinking and the ability to analyse information and situations, identify issues, assess impacts and propose options/recommendations based on sound rationale


Remuneration & Benefits

Base Salary: $102,458 to $113,344 pa (HEW 7)

This role attracts 17% superannuation (pension) in addition to the base salary.

This position is full-time, and the appointment will be made on a continuing basis.
