Reporting to the Directors, you will add value through:
- Managing the end-to-end delivery of goods on time and to order, including planning, despatch and production functions. Overseeing the planning process and production workflow to reduce incidents and delays.
- Building and maintaining a system of quality and efficient production by reviewing procedure documentation, maintaining procedures and managing a continuous improvement framework.
- Maintaining an efficient and safe factory by managing OH&S requirements, assessing risks and leading the team to maintain a consistently clean, tidy and safe workspace.
- Managing the culture and staff by ensuring all supervisors and their staff are aware of their key responsibilities, managing the performance of supervisors and setting clear expectations. Providing performance coaching as well as training and resolving any issues that arise.
- Managing communication with the sales team and customers to ensure strong relationships are developed and information communicated proactively.
