We are looking for a talented Operations Manager to join our team based in Hume, reporting directly to the Regional Branch Manager. The role provides a great opportunity to continue to grow the business and lead the service and parts teams. This is a hands-on management role and you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the branch in Hume that supports our on-highway, industrial and mining customers.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Manage to day to day operations and processes.
- Lead, motivate, develop, and engage our Service and Parts teams.
- Ensure all health, safety & environmental policies, procedures, and legislation are followed, and create an interdependent safety culture.
- Develop and implement business growth plans to improve the customer experience.
- Foster strategic customer relationships with customers
- Manage sales, profitability, expenses, WIP and service KPIs in line with budget
- Champion Cummins leadership behaviours, mission, vision and values.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Proven experience as a leader, with a strong focus on HSE and talent management from a similar industry, ideally you will be from the automotive, industrial, power generation industry – however not essential
- Have highly developed communication and influencing skills.
- Be able to build strong, value creating customer relationships.
- Have the ability to balance the needs of employees, customers, shareholders and communities.
