What you'll be doingTo assist the Distribution Centre Manager, to enable the continuous and efficient process flow, a high quality and accuracy of receiving and picking stock to be loaded for dispatch to customers.
- Oversee all planning, daily task allocation, receiving, picking, replenishments, quality control and ensure a high level of productivity, safety, and accuracy in line with the relevant legislative and operational requirements.
- Assist with the accuracy and timely receiving, picking, sortation, quality control and staging of all stock through efficient and structured daily planning.
- Ensuring that all documentation and orders are prepared and delivered to the department 24 hours prior to picking of goods, or in a timely manner.
- Ensure all stock is correctly scanned for put-away, picking, sortation, and loading.
- Maintain effective processes and procedures to deliver inventory record accuracy greater than 99%.
- Assist in development and implementation along with ongoing monitoring of processes and procedures to continuously improve and work toward elimination stock shrinkage and product damages
What are we looking for?- Physically able to perform warehouse duties.
- Previous experience in a similar role working in fast-paced warehousing operations
- Understanding of cost related to warehouse operations and the impact
- Ability to understand and analysis KPI's
- Capability to develop warehouse efficiency and implement change
