Operations Manager - Doorunga

As the Operations Manager, you will report directly to the Director. Your role involves leveraging your extensive managerial experience to ensure the efficiency and excellence of our land management services. You will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, enhancing productivity, and fostering strong relationships with stakeholders.
The Role:
- Location - Hunter Region with occasion travel to Sydney.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all operational aspects for profitability.
- Contribute to and improve sales productivity and business culture.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with regulatory authorities, external stakeholders, and suppliers.
- Prepare tenders for prospective contracts.
- Oversee staff management, including performance reviews.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve company goals.
- Manage financial resources, budgets, and grant funding.
- Lead and guide a team for high performance.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and ethical standards.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement in land management techniques.
- Act as a spokesperson, representing company values and mission.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of management experience in the land management sector.
- Demonstrated operational and people leadership.
- Experience in building strategic relationships.
- Certificate IV in Conservation and Land Management or related field.
- Certificate III in Indigenous Land Management or related field (Highly Desired).
- Proficiency in office IT software platforms.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Decision-making and adaptability skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
Essential Employment Requirements:
- National Police Check.
- Australian Citizenship.
- Current driver’s license.
- Driving record certificate from Services NSW.
