AddressWe operate a road safety enforcement program in Tasmania for a State Government contract and are recruiting for an Operations Manager to oversees the operation of the road safety enforcement program.
The duties of this role include:
- Prepare first drafts of the Monthly Operations Report and appendices for review by the State Manager
- Manage the operation to ensure that services are delivered efficiently to meet the ATOEP contract deliverables and KPIs
- Assist MROs in the field with remote technical fault triage of mobile enforcement equipment such as trouble shooting equipment issues or faults
- Assist in coordinating new site assessments including entering site details, analysing completed site assessments and preparing Site Assessment Reports for the Client
- Conduct spot speed, Distracted Driver or ANPR enforcement sessions occasionally as needed
- Monitor SGA’s car and trailer security system to enable operations to be monitored for security events
- Respond to alarm monitoring calls, investigate alarms and escalate to Emergency Services if required
- Organisation and administration of office services to ensure that the company operates professionally
- Primary person for delivery and dispatch of goods, office and equipment maintenance, and general smooth running of the office
The candidate should have the following skills and attributes:

- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Clear communication skills including verbal and written
- Manual dexterity and being comfortable towing and setting up a trailer

Employment includes a 6 months probation period
