Access the National Relay Service
In the role of Operations Officer within the Heavy Vehicle Access Team you will provide Heavy Vehicle Road Operations support to the Advisor in close liaison with the Queensland Police Service (QPS), the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator, Industry, the Heavy Vehicle Section and Transport and Main Roads (TMR) regions in managing the Heavy Vehicle operations on Queensland's road system.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Cultivate a team culture that supports, empowers and develops its individuals to reach their full potential within TMR.
- Supervise processing of permit applications and appeals and complaint escalations.
- Liaise with other departments, interstate and Commonwealth agencies, and transport and industry peak bodies and the Queensland Police Service as directed.
- Take personal responsibility for self and team to deliver on agreed outcomes, model high standards of professionalism and ethical behaviour; contribute actively to corporate and divisional goals, demonstrate self awareness and a commitment to personal development.
- Provide high level administrative support to the Advisor and other senior leaders to deliver operational outcomes.
