About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented engineer with a passion for operational excellence and quality management to join our growing team. In this exciting role, you will play a pivotal role in streamlining our internal processes, ensuring compliance with ISO standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Your engineering background will be instrumental in optimizing our utilization of NDT technologies and ensuring the integrity of client assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Optimize internal processes related to NDT services, such as scheduling, equipment allocation, and data analysis.
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction in material usage, resource allocation, and service delivery.
  • Ensure efficient utilization of our NDT technologies, including ultrasonic corrosion monitoring sensors. Analyze sensor data to identify potential equipment degradation and recommend proactive maintenance strategies.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance frameworks aligned with ISO 9001 standards to guarantee the highest quality in our services, encompassing aspects of safety, efficiency, and environmental sustainability
  • Manage SN Integrity's account management system, ensuring technical and administrative compliance for client projects.
  • Champion a "hands-on" approach to leading change initiatives, implementing methodologies tailored to our dynamic environment.
  • Develop and automate systems (e.g., CRM) to streamline the tendering and quoting process for our services.
  • Create and maintain a register of business opportunities, including follow-up actions for potential clients.
  • Provide project support for field services, including scheduling, equipment, and material requirements.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols to foster a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Contribute to the company's marketing efforts by supporting website and LinkedIn content creation related to our services and solutions, highlighting how NDT technologies ensure asset integrity.
  • Assist with sales management and follow-up activities with potential and existing clients.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline (e.g., Corrosion Engineering, Materials Engineering).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a relevant industry, with a demonstrated track record in operational excellence and quality management.
  • Proven experience in implementing and auditing ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
  • ISO 9001 auditor certificate
  • In-depth knowledge of ultrasonic corrosion monitoring sensors and their applications in asset integrity management (a plus).
  • Excellent technical report writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in web-based platforms for administration, sales (CRM), and marketing.
  • A passion for safety, efficiency, and environmental sustainability.
  • Australian Permanent Residency or Australian Citizenship is a plus.
