To support recent growth, we are seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to join our team in a FIFO role, initially on a 2/1 roster.
About the Role:
Reporting directly to the Project Manager, the Operations Supervisor will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence. Key responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Efficient scheduling of operations
- Cultivating and nurturing relationships with the client and stakeholders.
- Providing top-notch customer service, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
- Ensuring compliance with all statutory, legislative, and licensing requirements, including WHS, Fatigue Management, WAHVA accreditation, and maintenance programs.
- Championing a culture of continuous improvement across all operational facets.
- Actively participate in promoting and upholding our positive approach to safety
About You: The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following qualities:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in heavy haulage / road transport industry, demonstrating a solid understanding of its intricacies.
- Excellent knowledge of WHS best practices, WAHVA and other relevant regulations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proactive, self-starting attitude with exceptional initiative, time management, and organisational skills.
- Possession of a current manual driver’s license.
- Proficiency in MS Office and web-based applications, showcasing strong computer literacy.
- Completion of the WHS Schedule 26 Statutory Supervisor extremely well regarded.
