We do more than collect the bin from your street, we also convert waste into clean energy, divert food waste from landfill and convert to compost, manufacture customised waste management equipment, asbestos removal, refine and recycle oil, manage and maintain our fleet inhouse and have our own bespoke technology systems.

ABOUT THIS ROLE

We are seeking a self-motivated and enthusiastic Operations Supervisor based at out Launceston Depot - lead our team of waste collection professionals to effectively manage daily operational goals. 

The role is hands-on with consistent engagement of our driving teams to achieve the desired outcomes on safety, productivity, and process compliance. 

You will be working with a safe, modern and reliable fleet, serviced and maintained in our on-site workshops.

We are an essential services industry, offering stability to employees and reliability to our customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the business
• Oversee Commercial operations on a day to day basis, including management of the commercial driver team, run scheduling and optimisation
• Ensure all drivers and staff comply with JJs training requirements and accreditation
• Strive to achieve and uphold a high level of customer service within the business 
• Establish and manage relationships with customers and the public 
• Strive for improvement in operations whilst upholding a high level of safety at all times

ABOUT YOU

• Experience in transport, logistics or service industry - highly regarded but not essential
• Strong Microsoft Office capability and reporting 
• Ability to perform under pressure and to tight deadlines
• You are results orientated and always strive to improve efficiencies 
• Well-developed people and relationship skills
• Motivate staff effectively and consistently – maintain positive work culture
• HR license & driving experience highly regarded 
• Able to successfully satisfy a pre-employment medical
